Gentle Sunday Afternoon Jog

After my last run I have had some pain in my right foot and therefore went very easy today. It is a strain on the right side of the foot, which did get easier as I ran and presumably warmed up. Hopefully it will be right in a few days time.

Valentines Day Lunch Run

Headed out today in absolutely stunning weather. It was blue skies, pretty cool but perfect running weather. It’s funny because today’s run felt really slow but wasn’t that bad at 6 minutes 52 per mile. Sometimes you go and it feels really quick and you end up getting a slow time!

Certainly was a very cold morning for a run – but running in the cold is actually quite good.

Before Tea Run

Great run this evening in perfect weather conditions – crisp and cold but sunshine all round. Also broke my 5K record which as of today stands at 21 minutes and 15 seconds.

First 5 Mile Run

Today I achieved my first run at 5 miles or over – a good achievement I thought and I managed under 7 minutes per mile.

Pre-Lunch Run

Set out today to try and achieve 5 miles! Gutted that I didn’t quite make it as the route I choose and thought would be 5 miles turned out to only be 4.8. Still I will get there soon and this is the furthest I have ran. Was pretty slow though today.

Sunday Afternoon 4.4 Miles

Went the furthest to date today at 4.4 miles. 0.2 miles further than before. Was strange as this felt really fast today but it was not reflected in the time. Whereas yesterday felt really slow and was timed faster. Perhaps my Strava app is out!

Saturday Afternoon Run

The weather was fantastic this afternoon and although it was cold it was perfect for running. Must admit I found the going tough today but slogged it out and the time was much better than I thought.

Wrapped up warm for the cold clear conditions today. Also listened to my new running Spotify playlist.
