Today I ran the furthest yet. Managed 3.3 miles on an extended version of my normal loop, taking a diversion through Farington Park. Today was perfect running conditions, cold, foggy with misty rain.
Went a slightly different loop today on the way back to try and get this to just over 5km but it appears my tactics failed – still a wee bit short of 5km. Glorious day for running today though, a little frost and cold but clear blue sky.
When I headed out today I forgot my gloves and hands were too cold to do the full loop. Therefore turned this into a 1 mile sprint.
Today is the start of my 2017 running challenge to get a web developer (me!) to run 365 miles in the year. Wish me luck!
Today was the first day of my challenge to run 365 miles in 2017. It started pretty well with my normal 3 mile loop around Farington. However I am going to have to extend it somehow as annoyingly it works out at 4.8km!
Today we set out on a gentle jog with Harry on his Bike. Just went around the local area so the time was slow but we both really enjoyed it!
Even though the weather was shocking, possible the latter stages of storm Barbara, it felt good to get out there before the Christmas sedentary period. Certainly blew away the cobwebs!
Today I headed out for a run with my kids in tow on their bikes. I was surprised they managed to get round the complete 2.6 mile loop (my phone died half way through due to lack of batter power and therefore the whole route was not tracked).
Still quality time 🙂
First run on the new blog was a nice jog around my standard route in Leyland.
