The Injury Run

Today was wet, very wet and I headed out for a run. It was actually great running in the rain and the cooler conditions it gave meant I was felling good.

All that changed after about 4.8 miles when turning a sharp right turn I slipped on the wet ground. Grazed both knees, sliced open the side of my right hand and landed heavily on, and cut open my chin.

All of which meant although a fast time I had to cut slightly short the run to make sure I made it to the end without falling apart!
